Traveling is fun! When people discover I am a travel agent, they usually ask two questions. Can you get me a good deal and what is your favorite destination? My response is the same. I can get a good deal, and I don’t have just one favorite place.

Getting a good deal is most people’s objective. Knowing your budget, dates of travel, number of persons, and a general idea of where you want to go are imperative. Having this information helps us determine the best place for you. We plug it in and come up with 3 or 4 options. A good deal often times comes with sacrifice.

Being flexible is usually the biggest factor in regards to price. Sometimes a day or two can be the difference in hundreds of dollars. We need our customers to understand that we want them to have a positive experience and satisfaction is our goal.

Don’t you ever wonder if some of the recommendations you read online are real? I Do. There are many resources out there for travelers and some don’t give you the best information. Get to know your travel agent. We want to know you.

I really do have many favorite places, but New York City is certainly at the top of the list. Even though New York can be expensive, there are ways to visit that will not break the bank. All the different foods, cultures, shopping, are just a few of the reasons New York is my favorite. Rome is another spot I love. Being in this business for so long I may not take another guided tour, but Rome is one place with so much history and so much charm, I can just jump on a bus and ride for hours. Cancun is another spot! I like it because you can be on the beach by noon! It’s a great value and contrary to all the propaganda concerning Mexico, the beach areas are completely safe. The trouble is over 1000 miles away in border towns not near the beaches.
